Visit Luzern on your journey to the Gotthard Tunnel

Luzern is located on the “Vierwaldstättersee”, the “four-forrests-lake”, in central Switerland – en route towards the Gotthard Tunnel heading south.​

Luzern Parking

We recommend the large parking behind the main Luzern trainstation. From there you can reach the town center on foot within minutes using the bridges crossing the Reuss river.

The Luzern lake region

You can catch several boat different rides directly by the Luzern trainstation, including a paddle steamboat or tours which will take you to the base of the Rigi and Pilatus mountains.​

Museums – Travel & Arts 

The famous Museum of Transport is nearby, offering a historical glimspe of transportation. The Luzern Museum of Art is right by the trainstation, with numerous themes and displays on-going.
