Gotthard tunnel traffic newsflash for June 2025. ​
Expect heavy increased traffic flows heading into the Pentecost long weekend June 6-June10th.

The Gotthard tunnel traffic jams will begin to increase already during the week of Pentecost heading south. Northbound return traffic will also be heavy after the long weekend.

Consider using the San Bernardino tunnel route heading through Chur and onwards to Zurich.
